Bavarian State competition in Munich at the Oktoberfest

The highlight of 2012 was our first time conducting the biggest prize shoot in the world, the Octoberfest state shoot in Munich. For the first time since its inception in the year 1896, the competitions took place on 80 electronic target systems.

Our software for prize shooting was extended to include a user-friendly accounting function. All the competitors were so enthusiastic, that MEYTON was promptly given a contract to run the shoot for the next five years.

For the first time in the over 100-year history of Oktoberfest shooting, the results of the 2012 shots were not determined on paper targets but on the electronic scoring systems of the MEYTON company.
After last year's great success, 80 MEYTON electronic targets were used again at the Oktoberfest shooting.
The Bavarian Sports Shooting Federation, as organizer, welcomed more than 3200 shooters and 5000 guests in Munich.
This represents an increase of more than 10% for shooters over the previous year.
